ONE OF MY...

..best friends has become a text blogger. I call her a text blogger because she is a writer. She writes in norwegian, so therefor I will now describe her blog in norwegian.

PATTERN FOR YOU

As I promised, here´s the design for the match box that you can download. It´s made for the norwegian boxes that measures 7 x 5 cm.  Just click on the picture and drag the it to your desktop and print. Remember the colours will turn out different on differnt type of papers. I used a matte heavyweight paper, that way the colours turned out a bit bolder.

WHIP UP

Yesterday I checked my sitemeater just to see how many visitors I had latly, and I must admit I got shocked. 700 visitors and 1700 page views on one day! How could that be? Then i found out that the wonderful site Whip Up had linked me and my froebel star. The editor and originator of the site , Kathreen Ricketson, explains Whip Up like this.

"This website has been created in order to bring the best original and exciting crafts to the attention of many. To create a community of artists, crafters and makers and share ideas in a central space."

It´s so inspiering and I bet you will get a lot of ideas. I know I did.

BITS & PIECES

Here´s my latest creative project; a mobile. I´ve got this lampshade for a while but never got the time. Now it´s done. I spraypainted it yellow and collected bits and pieces from my home. The flowers were ment for broaches, lots of different ribbons, the buttons are old and remeber the button-stickers from the scrapbook-store, here´s where they ended up. I made it for the baby, but Mathea fell in love with it and the mobile is now hanging in her playroom. So now I have to make one more Ü Have a happy happy weekend!

HEARTS & MAGNUS

I´m just done making illustrations for a mom and her son. Hope you enjoy them Ü

YOU MADE MY DAY

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments on the playroom. You all put a smile on my face Ü

Some of you wondered where I got my fabric; and they are all bought at the fleemarket. A lot of the dressup-clothes are bought at the secondhandstore, I just redesigned them a bit so they would fit her. My husband made the kitchen and I love it. He likes to do the practical things and me, I love to decorate. Again, thank you!

PLAYROOM

It´s been a busy weekend. While Mathea stayed at her grandparents, we turned the TV-room into a playroom. She has her bedroom upstairs and needed a place for her self and a room that was closer to us. I made different prints that I framed and the retro picture is fleamarket-fabric. The patterns that I showed you earlier is now turned into a small flags. The stool with the green pillow on is a box filled with all of her dress-up things and the princessdresses hangs on the shelf. She is so proud and she loves it Ü...and so do we.

PYNT

This post I will write in norwegian, it´s much easier for me to describe. Sorry about that Ü
